I use leather and minerals to intuitively express my feelings and thoughts to create bags, jewellery and everyday accessories.

My bags and other accessories are made with a complexity of minerals, leather, texture and form that gives them a unique expression that gently, softly sets them apart from the everyday.

My creations are characterised by a clean form and harmonious colours, made especially for those who appreciate uniqueness, pieces that can be worn in everyday life! This uniqueness makes the leather products of Szabó Ildi Original Budapest inimitable!

For me, the greatest joy in the creation of a bag is the freedom that comes with it, each one a new opportunity for harmony and joy for others.

Minerals

When I first encountered the minerals, I was captivated by their positive energy and the natural power they exude. I became curious and started researching to find out more about them. Minerals are natural formations that transmit information and vibrations, and they have been used and highly respected in all cultures, from Egypt to the Aztec, Inca and Mayan Empires, Greeks, Chinese, African to North American Indians and North Vikings. The minerals I use are sourced from reliable, clean sources.

Leather

I want to create the best, so I spend days, even weeks researching minerals, quality skins. As soon as I look at a slab of leather, I see the finished product in front of me. In my mind, I am already experiencing the joy of creation, and I would like to pass on this joy and fullness to you.

I work with natural and naturalistic ingredients. By tailoring the parts one by one, I can easily avoid the creation of tailoring waste, which makes me even more sustainable. I make it a priority to minimise the environmental impact of my bags and jewellery. To achieve this, I use the smallest scraps of leather in my jewellery and as filler for my leather design cushions. I prefer to use water-based glue instead of solvent-based glue in the production process, thus protecting the environment.
